A Tribute to a Beloved Friend and Colleague, Cliff Casteel
In loving memory of our dear friend and coworker, Cliff. Our hearts are heavy as we reflect on the life of Cliff Casteel, who departed from us too soon. Beginning his radio career in 1988, Cliff dedicated two decades to Okie Country 101.7 in Muskogee, where his voice brought comfort to countless listeners.
A respected figure in the industry, Cliff was honored three times as "Personality of the Year" by the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters. In 2010, his commitment to community service was recognized with the "Okie from Muskogee Award" for his outstanding contributions to Muskogee.
Cliff’s interests were diverse and captivating. Known for his passion for weather and storm chasing, he provided crucial weather updates for media outlets. His talent in photography captured nature’s beauty and power, leaving behind images that reflect his adventurous spirit.
In honor of Cliff, we are partnering with Okie Country 101.7 and will be dedicating part of our fireworks show to him each night. We will shoot the biggest firework shell ever witnessed by the town of Muskogee each night in his honor. Here is your chance to be a part of this heartfelt memorial. Go to this link.
